Sabah Surat (she/they) is a second-generation Bengali artist from Tkarón:to. She has made theatre with several arts organizations in Canada since 2012 and made textile arts since 2020 in Canada and Bangladesh. Sabah also writes plays and zines.

Sabah holds a bachelor of arts with honours from York University, a certificate in Global Action and Engagement from Queen’s University, and a Master of Public Policy and Global Affairs from the University of British Columbia.

Noor of Bengal is named after Sabah’s grandmother and home.
